Executive Director
Rob has been involved in manufacturing, in one form or another, since his professional career began. Working in small businesses from the start allowed him to learn all aspects of a manufacturing company. Being able to help a company, rather than just one internal dimension is what he enjoys most. That is what enticed Rob to become the full-time Executive Director of two regional manufacturing associations in 2021, the Sarasota/Manatee Area Manufacturers Association (SAMA) and the Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association (SRMA). Having been involved in other associations and non-profit organizations during his career, it became a natural fit.
Raised in the Fort Lauderdale area, Rob has resided on the west coast of Florida since 1991. Rob met his wife Elizabeth while at the University of Florida, where he earned his degree in marketing, and they have one daughter, a University of South Florida St. Petersburg graduate working for the Humane Society of Manatee County.
Personally, Rob and Elizabeth enjoy their two puppies, traveling, camping, kayaking, sporting events, live music, and the craft beer scene. In 2025, they expect their second home to be complete in Copperhill, TN, where they plan to escape the Florida heat whenever possible!
