Joey started Axiom in 2005 with a vision to help small, family-owned businesses achieve their goals. The focus of this business was to help business owners identify where they want their business to go, plan strategically to get there and execute those plans on a weekly and monthly basis. In 2012 the tax and accounting firm clients were sold to another firm and Axiom Strategic Consulting narrowed its focus to strategic planning and execution. As a consultant, my approaches and tools have been developed in the trenches alongside business owners and their teams. Axiom’s Business Growth Advisors come from a diverse range of backgrounds and work with client companies using a multidisciplinary approach that addresses culture, leadership, operations, sales and finance.
Joey is a Florida native, born in Jacksonville, raised in Ocala, and a Manatee County resident for the last 23 years. He is actively involved in their church, Cornerstone of Lakewood Ranch, and in the surrounding community. Joey currently serves on the boards for The Manatee County Family YMCA, Parenting Matters, Realize Bradenton, and Marriage and Family Works. Past board service includes The Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, The Early Learning Coalition, and The Family Partnership Center.
Joey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Covenant College. Joey is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
