President and CEO
Adrienne is the President and CEO at CareerSource Florida. She has also served on the CareerSource Florida Board as designee for the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO). Adrienne has served as the Deputy Secretary for the Division of Workforce Services at the DEO. Prior to this she was the Chief of the Bureau of Workforce Statistics and Economic Research within DEO for five years. Prior to joining DEO, Adrienne served as a manager for Evergreen Solutions and a Labor Market Research Director for Brandt Information Services.
Adrienne’s extensive background in workforce services and economics ideally suit her to help lead transformational change, ensuring the CareerSource Florida network continues to anticipate and respond to the current and future needs of business and our citizens.
Adrienne holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from Florida State University.
Adrienne Johnston is focused on achieving Governor DeSantis’ goal that Florida will be No. 1 in workforce education by 2030. Our collective goal is to help transform Florida’s workforce system to be truly customer-focused, and to achieve Governor DeSantis’ vision that Florida continues to be the best state in the nation to live, work and raise a family.
